Privacy policy

What we collect
- For the organizer: their name and email address, used to send their admin link and, where applicable, the payment confirmation.
- For guests: their name, their reply (attendance, party size, meal choices, allergies, a short note) and, if they provide it, their email address — all of it visible only to the organizer.
- For payments: payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Privacy between guests
A guest never sees other guests' replies, emails, allergies or messages. If the organizer enables “who will be there”, only the first names of confirmed guests appear on the invitation — never anything else.
Advertising and cookies
The free version shows a Google AdSense ad on the organizer's dashboard and on some of our informational pages — never on the invitation or in the guests' reply pages. Unlocking removes all ads.
Before the first ad, a banner asks whether you accept the cookies used to personalize advertising. If you refuse, non-personalized ads are shown instead. Your choice is stored on your device and you can withdraw it at any time:
Beyond that, the service itself uses only one essential cookie: the one that recognizes you as the organizer of your events, with no tracking or profiling.
What we don't do
- We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We don't send newsletters: only the emails the service needs (admin link, invitations, confirmations, reminders).
- No account is required: access happens only through secret links, unique to each person.
Who can see what
The invitation is accessible to anyone who has its link, but its address is impossible to guess, and we ask search engines not to index invitations, dashboards or guest pages.
Deleting your data
To have an entire event or any data about you deleted, write to us at bonjour@quiserala.ca and we'll act on it promptly.
