How to build your seating chart
Name the people: a reply tells you how many are coming, but a place card needs to know who. We create one seat per announced person, with a provisional name like "Marie's guest 2" that you replace with the real one.
Create your tables and seat people: say how many tables and how many seats, rename them if you like (Maple and Birch rather than Table 1 and Table 2), then pick a person and their table. A full table simply refuses the seat.
Print the pieces: the entrance poster in your invitation's design, the place cards ready to cut, and the caterer sheet with covers per table and allergies. You can also publish the chart, so each guest sees the name of their own table on their personal link.

What sets it apart from other seating chart tools
No guest list to retype. That is the fundamental difference: dedicated seating tools start from a blank page and make you enter every name again. Here the replies you received are already the people to seat, which also avoids two lists quietly drifting apart.
Last-minute changes do not break anything. If a reply shrinks, the person who was dropped does not vanish silently: they are flagged, and you decide. If someone is added, a seat appears in the pile to seat.

- Never. If you choose to publish the chart, each guest sees only the name of their own table on their personal link. They see neither the other tables, nor who is sitting where, nor anyone else's reply.
